Story
He was an only child, and his family lived in Sui-No-Sato. His father promised to wed his son to the fisher's daughter, but alas the wasn't interested in women. Rough adventurers and hardy sailors tempted him and he started leaving to the surface in secret, exploring. Sometimes spending a whole night away. Though no fun lasts a lifetime and it came to an end when a Garlean patrol surprised him and he was taken captive. Those five days were too long. Despite he got away and returned home. The secret was out. One did not leave Sui-no Sato without consequences: He was exiled. And so his surname he hid, no longer introducing himself as Hirokyui but as Wanguitar.His journeys lead him all over Eastern Eorzea. From the steppes to Doman heartland till his wonder-lust lead him to Kugane.Life in Kugane was to his liking. At first he found work at the shipyard. But that wasn’t enough.. Temptation lead him to became an escort. And so he became all too familiar with strangers in the night. That was until a pirate called Sadachika Buduga seduced him and he left for a long journey with him. The journey was an eye-opener and after many nights the grim reality of being the pet of a slave trader dawned on him. Sadachika's attention waned and as he became disinterested in the ruby raen, things changed. He was used by the crew, by people who once he thought were his friends.Salvation came in the unlikeliest of places: In the Sea of ashes the ship landed on a verdant island, one towered with a lone mountain. Unbeknownst to Captain Sadachika Buduga, the crew rose in mutiny. They set the island on fire. As the fires crept up the mountain he was stuck on. Options were few: down to his death or face the crew in combat. So he leapt. To him death, impaled on tree branches. He was bleeding out, painting the thick tree in crimson.He thought he was dead, but at the last moment, in his mind, he heard a voice. A voice that promised him life. A simple exchange, he would take the soul of the tree spirit of that island or die there right then. He made his choice. His soul was driven to the corner in his mind and he realized he couldn't move himself, yet he rose. Thorns burst from his skin and his hands melted to strands of brambleweed that hung from his sides like flogs. As petals bloomed on his scales he drenched them in blood as he killed the pirates on the island. The captain sailed away but he wouldn't get far. One day Freontwel would cross paths with him, again.He made it to Limsa in the end. This is where the story continues...

Freo will always take the time to watch and touch all the flowers and plants he comes across. With his powers, he can talk to plants, encourage em to grow and make even the wilted of flowers to bloom anew. If you show any negligence towards plants he won't be keeping the tree spirit hidden.
